About the game

Songwick is a free adventure RPG you play in your web browser. Step off the ferry into Fernwick, a small village lit by lanterns, and help its people find the old songs they have lost. Learn jobs like fishing and woodcutting, explore four lands, take on quests with a real story, and fight alone or with friends. The songs you find are not just music: play them on your instrument to light a beacon, wake a sleeping village, or help you in a fight.

It is a cozy game with an old-school feel: you click to walk, level up slowly from 1 to 99, and find a new song in every corner of the world.

What you can do

  • Explore four lands around the village of Fernwick: the misty marsh town of Lowmarsh, the Dry Reach desert, the snowy White Fells and the old castle of Larkhold.
  • Quests with a story. Every quest has its own people, its own puzzle and its own song as a reward.
  • Music you can play. Find songs, then play them on your instrument to light beacons, boost your skills or help you in a fight.
  • Jobs from level 1 to 99: woodcutting, fishing, mining, cooking, crafting and more.
  • Skill trees for fighting and moving, with real choices. Change your mind for free at a mentor.
  • Fight alone or with friends, meet other players, and trade with them.
  • Day and night. The lamps come on at dusk and the world changes after dark.
  • Plays anywhere. Your game is saved on your device, or with your account when you sign in.
